OP1 cable

op1

Application

OP1 fiber optic cable is designed for direct burial in soil (including frozen deformated soil), laying on bridges and overpasses, with increased requirements to resistance to external electromagnetic influences. Laying in ducts, conduits, collectors, tunnels is also allowed.

Cable design

  1. Optical fibers (or fiber bundles) of different colors.
  2. Central polymer tube filled by waterblocking compound.
  3. Armoring with GRP (glass reinforced plastic) rods.
  4. Aramid yarn (if needed).
  5. Inner sheath.
  6. Armoring with GRP (glass reinforced plastic) rods.
  7. Outer PE sheath.

Armouring free space is filled with waterblocking compound.
