OA2 cable

oa2

Application

OA2 optical fiber cable is designed for laying through bayous, rivers crossings, navigable and non-navigable rivers, deep-water lakes and reservoirs, direct burial in the soil (including frozen deformated soil), ducts, conduits, collectors and tunnels.

Cable design

  1. Optical fibers (or fiber bundles) of different colors.
  2. Central polymer tube filled by waterblocking compound.
  3. Galvanized steel wire armoring, including high-strength wires with tensile load no less than 1670 MPa.
  4. Waterblocking tape.
  5. Aluminum tape with polymer coating.
  6. Inner PE sheath.
  7. Galvanized steel wire armoring, including high-strength wires with tensile load no less than 1670 MPa.
  8. Outer PE sheath.

Armouring free space is filled with waterblocking compound.
