OAC cable

Application

OAC fiber optic cable is designed for laying through bayous, rivers crossings, navigable and non-navigable rivers, direct burial in the trenches, ducts, conduits, collectors, tunnels, bridges and overpasses, buildings. It is allowed tolay cable in the ground, exposed to low temperature deformations, if cable resistance to tensile forces is at least 20 kN.

Cable design

  1. Optical fibers (or fiber bundles) of different colors.
  2. Central polymer tube filled by waterblocking compound.
  3. Galvanized steel wire armoring, including high-strength wires with tensile load no less than 1670 MPa.
  4. Waterblocking tape.
  5. Aluminum tape with polymer coating.
  6. Outer PE sheath.
