Application

DPD optical fiber cable is designed for suspension between buildings,on supports (towers) of communication lines, for cabining through tunnels, underground, inside buildings, to be used as temporarycable insert in case of increased requirements for resistance to external electromagnetic influences.

Cable design

  1. Central strength member – GRP rod.
  2. Optical fibers of different colors.
  3. Polymer tube filled with hydrophobic compound.
  4. Attached dielectric straight member – GRP rod.
  5. Outer PE sheath.

Specifications

  • Static tensile strength – from 1,0 kN to 6,0 kN;*
  • Crush resistance –  from 0,2 kN/cm to 0,4 kN/cm;*
  • Impact resistance – 5 J;
  • Allowed bending radius – from 270 mm to 300 mm;
  • Cable diameter – from 4,2х6,3х11,3 mm to 6,0х8,7х15,0 mm;
  • Cable weight – from 85 kg/km to 190 kg/km;
  • Cable length on a drum – up to 25 km.
