OCV cable

Application

OCV optical fiber cable isеру minimized version of OPC cable (with central polymer tybe), which has good resistance to external factors. Cable is designedto be used as a temporary optical cable insertion when repair of communication lines takes place.

Damaged areas of fiber optic telecommunication lines can be promptly restored because of small diameter and weight of cable.

OCV cable is designed for suspension between buildings, on the supports (towers) of electrical transmission lines, lighting poles.

Cable design

  1. Optical fibers of different colors.
  2. Polymer tube filled with hydrophobic compound.
  3. Galvanized steel wire armoring, including hight-strength wires with tensile load no less than 1670 MPa.
  4. Outer PE sheath.

Specifications

  • Fiber count – up to 48;
  • Static tensile strength – from 4 kN to 8 kN;*
  • Crush resistance – from 0,2 kN/cm to 1,0 kN/cm;*
  • Impact resistance – 30J;
  • Allowed bending radius – from 100 mm to 160 mm;
